The Model 707A is an extremely versatile microwave-through-millimeter-wave source. It covers the 2 - 100 GHz frequency range by means of internally installed YIG and Gunn diode sources. For users requiring extreme frequency precision and/or stability, the 707A has provisions for phase-locking. Manual operation is by means of the front-panel keypad, whereas computer control uses an RS-232 interface.

The Model 708 Power Supply is designed for use with clinotrons. A variant of BWOs, a clinotron (shown in the figure) is able to generate high power in the 56 - 510 GHz range. Power outputs range from 4 W at 60 GHz to 20mW at 500 GHz. Tube bandwidths are approximately 10%. The 708 can be operated from either front-panel controls or externally via an RS232 serial interface.
